Claire Hams MBACP | Psychodynamic Counsellor

“Registering with Frontline19 was a streamlined process and I felt very supported by the team. My first client was matched to me based on my experience. Having worked for twelve years for the NHS, it’s a privilege to be able to offer therapeutic support to an NHS frontline nurse and give something back at this time of great need.”

You could help by offering:

FAQs

What will happen next?

Your registration will go to a supervisor for approval, and then if you meet our requirements you’ll receive a notification to say you are live on our system.  When the need arises, you will receive a text and/or an email offering you a match with a frontline worker.  You must respond to this within 48 hours but Ideally sooner.   You may also receive texts about urgent cases which will go out to many therapists.  Respond quickly to pick up that case.

How long will it take to be matched up?

Once your account has been approved, it can take days, weeks or months depending on demand.   We expect demand to be greatest as the pandemic subsides. Please be patient and bear with us.  We are a small busy team so we’d really appreciate it if you can sit tight and keep requests to a minimum. Those who have specialised skills, experience and accreditation may be matched first.

Can I choose which sort of frontline worker I’m matched to?

No, we need all our therapists to be open to working with any frontline worker who needs support.

What if the therapeutic relationship isn’t working?

Please let us know if it really isn’t working and we can assign your worker to a different therapist and queue you for a different worker.

Do you offer supervision?

No, we are purely a matching service and you must arrange your own supervision.  Head over to our free Facebook group where there are therapists offering free supervision.
