Meet The Team

Claire Goodwin-Fee | Founder & CEO

Claire is the Founder and CEO of Frontline19. She is also a highly experienced Psychotherapist MBACP, and Clinical Supervisor.

​She is passionate about supporting our NHS and frontline staff having in the past received incredible care for her father from intensive care nurses and doctors at Kings College Hospital in London.

Claire is dedicated to promoting positive emotional wellbeing and believes that mental health doesn’t have to be depressing. She has a strong belief in empowering the clients that she works with so that they can lead happier and healthier lives.

From her many years in practice as a therapist and mentor, she has a wide network of colleagues and professional therapists who are on hand to support others.

Karen Smith | Head of Operations

Karen is Head of Operations and joined the Frontline team in October 2021. She is a professionally qualified psychological coach and mentor and has worked in business and education for many years. Her specialist field is emotional intelligence, emotional resilience, appreciative inquiry, restorative practice, and solution focus. 

Karen’s role within Frontline is to focus on the operational elements of business, working closely with the CEO, Frontline 19 team, partners, stakeholders, and external organisations to support efficiency, functionality, growth and sustainability of the Frontline 19 organisation. 
Karen is passionate about emotional health support and education and is incredibly proud to be a part of the Frontline 19 team.

Emma Scarborough | Referrals Coordinator

Emma is the Referrals Coordinator for Frontline19, she is also a UKCP accredited psychotherapist working with adults and young people, and a qualified clinical supervisor.

She spent some years working in administrative roles for a variety of large national and multinational companies based in London before moving to Yorkshire and taking a career break to raise her family.  

Now back in London, Emma is really enjoying being part of the Frontline19 team, delivering much-needed support to NHS and front line workers.

Melodie Bruce | Therapist Support Coordinator

Mel is the Therapist Support Coordinator for Frontline19.

She worked as a Registered General Nurse in her local hospital, then went on to work for over 20 years in the community, firstly within her own company and then for a registered charity. Mel has spent the last few years caring for a member of her family.

She is proud to be part of the team helping to deliver services to support NHS and Frontline workers.

June Dean | Designated Safeguarding Lead

June is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at Frontline19. She is an experienced Psychotherapist and a member of the BACP.

She has over 20 years of experience in Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and is passionate about mental health and well-being.

June has previously worked for the NHS at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she was a Surgical Clinic Assistant and feels that all the NHS workers do an amazing job.

Emma Hutchings  | Executive Assistant 

Emma is Executive Assistant to Claire Goodwin-Fee and joined Frontline 19 in June 2020.

Emma has previously worked in London as a PA for the past 18 years, leaving to have a family. More recently she has worked at a local Pilates Studio before joining the Frontline19 team.

Emma enjoys spending time with her family going for bike rides or long walks along the coast.

Sian Sims | Technical Support

Sian is our Technical Support Specialist. She has worked in business and accounting for 15 years and is now an important part of the Frontline19 team.

Sian strongly supports everything Frontline19 do for the NHS and frontline workers. She also supports our training workshops so you will hear from her if you book any of our training opportunities.

Mike Berry | Supervision Support Coordinator

Mike first joined Frontline19 as a volunteer back in early 2020 and is now our Supervision Support Coordinator.

Previously, Mike has made films and videos around counselling which led him into the profession. He has now been working as a therapist for 18 years and has just completed his EMDR training.

Mike has taught counselling at various levels and has run courses on becoming a supervisor and converting from working with adults to working with children and young people.

His hobbies include Tai Chi, travel and a new wildlife garden pond.

Imogen Healy-Millett | Research & Operations Administrator

Imogen has recently completed her integrated master’s in neuroscience at Cardiff University. She is honoured to be part of the Frontline19 team, working to provide accessible mental health care and support to our incredible NHS workers.

She hopes to undertake a doctorate and pursue a career in neuroscience research with a focus on further understanding the neurobiology of different mental health disorders.

In her spare time, she carries out streaming on twitch to a small community with the aim of promoting open and safe spaces online for all and reducing the taboo surrounding talking about mental health.
